Eurovision 2026 best upgrades from national final- grand final performances

Greece:

Akylas- Ferto

With Akyla's national final performance it was good but not quite energetic he brought the energy which is what the song needed/ and I liked the upgraded visuals as well with the actors and the scooter it looked fun and he enjoyed himself more on stage. I really thought the televote will give him more points as it was such a televote performance but 10th is still a good result but deserved top 5.

Bulgaria

Dara - Bangaranga

Let's be honest no one expected this banger to win but i'm so glad it did she absolutely slayed the upgrade was unreal she gave sort of theatrical performance you can say with the dancers of the mask and she showed her esc experience on stage. The choreography was just so good and much better than the national final. Such a deserve winner.

Croatia:

Lelek - Andromeda

I will say hands down one the best Croatian entries im glad they ended up top 15. The upgrade from visuals and outifts was everything they also improved as well. The stage prop was also a nice touch it gave more drama to the performance and more darkness. Their performance absolutely gave me chills.

Poland:

Alicja - Pray

Although the outfit was pretty similar the staging was better but the prop reminded me of Armenia 2023 so not the most original. i really loved the dancers as well great energy, Alicja's vocals were so good definitely one of the best female vocalist of this year. I'm glad she got her chance to be at Eurovision. Poland did better than expected.

Romania:

Alexandra Căpitănescu - Chock Me

The national final performance was nothing compared to the final performance. Alexandra delivered great vocals and falsetto's. The prop with the guitar was a nice touch as well. Definitely one of the best entry from Romania well deserved third place.
