Bulgaria’s Eurovision winner DARA enjoyed another major career moment in Greece, where she was honoured during the MAD Video Music Awards 2026.

The Bulgarian pop star, who brought her country a historic Eurovision victory with “Bangaranga”, was recognised by Panik Records for the song’s impressive success on the Greek music market. During the event, DARA received a gold plaque celebrating the popularity of the track, which has become one of the standout Eurovision hits of the year.

The award was presented at the MAD VMA ceremony, one of Greece’s biggest music events, adding even more glamour to an already memorable night. DARA appeared on stage after delivering an energetic performance that received a warm reaction from the audience.

“Bangaranga” has made a strong impact beyond Bulgaria, gaining millions of streams and performing strongly on digital platforms. In Greece, the song has enjoyed particular success, helped by its release through Panik Records.

The achievement also highlights the Greek connection behind Bulgaria’s Eurovision triumph. Acclaimed Greek composer and producer Dimitris Kontopoulos was among the creators of “Bangaranga”, making the song’s success especially meaningful for both Bulgaria and Greece.

For DARA, the gold plaque is another sign of how far her Eurovision journey has travelled. From winning the contest to being celebrated abroad, she continues to build momentum as one of the region’s most exciting pop names.

The MAD VMA appearance was more than just an awards-night moment. It was a celebration of a song that crossed borders, connected audiences, and gave Bulgaria a proud place in Eurovision history.
